History
Harry needed rig surgery and had a history of heavy worm burden that he nearly died from. His owners had done their best for him, but could no longer afford his treatment or surgery and had asked the vet to put him to sleep. The vet approached the Epona Trust to see if we could rehome him and he was signed over to us in September 2022 when he was two and a half years old.
Latest Update
Under the care of the Epona Trust, Harry successfully had his rig surgery. He then started his ridden training (backed) in Summer 2023 and was turned away over the Winter. He is now building his fitness and being brought back into ridden work. He is currently too young and green to be used in the riding school, but has shown signs of becoming an excellent jumper as he matures.
Harry is very handsome and thinks he is a bit of a “ladies man”. The mares are not so sure, but he is much admired by the human ladies.
